Gary Vergason

President & CEO

Gary Vergason founded Vergason Technology, Inc. (VTIŽ) in 1986 and serves as CEO and Technical Director. Working in the vacuum coating industry since 1980, Gary has authored six patents in the field of vacuum coatings. In 1996, he was named New York State Small Businessman of the Year by Gov. Pataki.

Gary belongs to the Society of Vacuum Coaters and serves on the decorative tactical committee. He also is a member of the American Vacuum Society, the American Society of Materials, the American Electroplaters and Surface Finishing Society, Society of Plastics Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers, the Surface Engineering Coating Association, Review Committee of the Ceramics Corridor Innovation Center and Southern Tier Economic Growth Board of Directors.
